On over 800 fertile acres in the Hudson River Valley bordering Massachusetts, Connecticut and New York lies Shagbark Farms. Temperate conditions and lush soils allow a great and varied assortment of conifers and deciduous material to thrive. Assortment and availability of specialty Blue Spruce including Fat Albert, Bakeri, Hoopsi, Koster, Fastigiata, Baby Blue and Montgomery Spruce stretch as far as the eye can see. Conditions at Shagbark Farms allow summer digging on most or all deciduous and evergreen material in the field, and if it’s not in the field they offer extensive container inventory.
